I just stopped in here for the first time today and had a wonderful experience all around. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Outdoor dining has become really important to me over the past few years and their setup is beautiful and comfortable. The interior space is so cozy and relaxing. I haven't tried dinner yet but we're planning to come by next weekend and are really looking forward to it given the quality of the lunch we had! The delicious fresh fruit served on the side was a genuinely lovely surprise to an already great meal. This is exactly the sort of spot I was hoping would pop up within a thirty minute drive from my home and I'm so happy we found it. Thank you for the experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mill Cafe and Restaurant located in the historic mill, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The 3-course dinner was outstanding, offering a generous portion of delicious food at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful rustic tone that perfectly complemented the mill's historic charm. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in for a treat. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured that our glasses were always full and our plates were never empty. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience in a unique and historic setting. My partner and I have dinned in and around the area of Dover-Foxcroft , this had become our favorite place to haunt! We can't wait to go back... Next weekend!!!!

What’re you doing for breakfast while you’re in the area? The answer should be: going to The Mill Cafe. This place is awesome. Fresh food cooked to order, delicious lattes, and a really charming modern atmosphere with a rustic twist. I needed to find a place to get some work done, my girlfriend needed somewhere to warm up, and we both wanted a hearty breakfast. We made the right choice.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Mill Cafe. I had filet mignon and my husband had haddock. Both meals included salad, bread, fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed several local beers (they do have a full bar), I had an after dinner coffee and delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. Will definitely go back to try their breakfast and lunch offerings. Hopeful they will occasionally offer dinners like they did last night!! Highly recommend.

Where do I begin.. this cafe is amazing on so many levels. Let’s start with the food. They have so many gluten free options (not just omitting bread), and dairy free milk alternatives/options that this neck of the woods needs. There are so many places you can’t go around here with food allergies, but this spot has so many options for dairy, gluten, and even soy which is a hard one. Atmosphere. The person/people who designed this place must be an artist or just really appreciates aesthetic. The outdoor tables over looking the water create such a quaint and tranquil vibe, while the indoor seating gives a blend of Maine and the desert in one (imo). So many beautiful plants, rugs, artwork, and the lighting... just wow. Service. The girl that helped me out was so dope. You could tell that connecting with people on an authentic level is something that fills her heart with joy. She has blonde hair and a bunch of cool rings— she deserves recognition! This place is such a dope little gem in Piscataquis county. Love what y’all are doing, keep being amazing!

The food and experience was the same quality as a big city 5 star restaurant with the charm of small town friendliness. The owner is a creative genius who is down to earth and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Definitely recommend! Will definitely come back often and happy to make the drive to come here!

Went for breakfast. Ordered a flapjack breakfast with blueberries. It was a massive plate and very delicious. The bacon was thick and crispy, just like it should be. The breakfast burrito was also a huge portion. Wonderful view of the dam. We will be returning.
